US East Coast Study Tour

16 – 21 March 2025

2025 will see the first cohort of the Global Leadership Study Programme from the UK visit leading institutions in the USA. The study tour will visit Harvard University, Boston University, Princeton University and The Johns Hopkins University, amongst others.

The faculties from each university will share their experience and expertise in reputation, advocacy and advancement strategy and practice. Delegates will finish the first stage of the Programme with a clear understanding of how to develop institutional strategies, identify and grow talent, deliver success and manage challenges related to all things reputation, advocacy and advancement.

The study tour will be followed up with three Reputation, Advocacy and Advancement in Action masterclasses, an opportunity to participate in key action learning sets and attend VIP dinners in London with leading guest speakers from government, industry and third sector. A further half-day of facilitated exchange and engagement in the UK with another international CASE Global Leadership Study Programme Cohort, followed by an evening dinner hosted by UK/worldwide diplomats.

To conclude the Programme, delegates will be invited to attend the annual CASE Global Leadership alumni dialogue and reception taking place at the CASESummit for Leaders in Advancement conference in New York City.

Day One - Sunday

Welcome and introductory dinner – Boston

Day Two - Monday

Day at Harvard University.

Evening dinner and Fireside Chat at British Consulate General in Boston.

Day Three - Tuesday

Morning at Boston University.

Travel to New York arriving early evening with an informal dinner.

Day Four - Wednesday

Morning at United Nations or New York Development Corporation.

Afternoon at Princeton University.

Dinner or cultural event.

Day Five - Thursday

Morning travel from New York to Washington DC.

Afternoon at The Johns Hopkins University.

Evening reception.

Day Six - Friday

Morning at a Washington university.

Afternoon at CASE HQ and a chance for final reflections and networking with CASE staff.

Overnight flight back to the UK.

Day Seven - Saturday

Morning arrival in the UK.
